Background : Art Culture and Heritage Africa cc, trading as ACHA Group cc is a newly established and independent cultural heritage consulting business operating within South Africa’s cultural heritage, business, and developmental sector.

ACHA Group cc was officially registered in 2007 and remained dormant until March 2010, when its founder and director Mr Nkosinathi Tomose decided to focus his attention in developing and growing the business. Mr Tomose has years of experience in cultural resources management (CRM: research, heritage impact assessments advisory, adjudication and compliance, cultural heritage institution operational models etc), collections management and social facilitation.

ACHA Group cc is established to meet the demand and close the gap that currently exists in documenting, managing, conserving, strategic development, branding, promotion and marketing of cultural heritage resources, sites and institutions in South Africa by realising synergies that exist between CRM, environmental management, and development (e.g. property).

Vision: Our aim is to offer practical and well researched cultural heritage solutions for sustainable development, conservation and promotion of cultural heritage resources in South Africa.

Mission: To contribute, intellectually and practically to the: identification, protection, management, conservation, strategic development, branding, promotion and marketing of cultural heritage resources, sites and institutions. To contribute in developing programmes aimed at bridging the gap between the public, private and heritage sectors; by forging and encouraging partnerships between the business, heritage and the broader South African public.
